WAL about NZ song artists for New Zealand Music Month.
This is the album cover I made for singer Lorde’s song Royals. I looked up the original album cover for the song and it is very simplistic so I tried to recreate that in my album cover. I used purple for the words because purple is a colour associated with royalty. I made the crown and the background colour similar so that sometimes you can see the crown and sometimes you can’t. I did this because in the lyrics Lorde was talking about how ‘and we’ll never be rulers’ so I wanted to incorporate that.
